Café Chair, Producer: Ishinomaki Laboratory
Café Chair was developed for Ishinomaki Laboratory around the idea of making a chair with as little construction as possible. The design uses only 90-degree cuts and standard sections of wood, assembled with the black screws characteristic of the Ishinomaki Laboratory collection. The resulting chair has a compact footprint and a straightforward structure that also gives it a sculptural quality.
