HUM is a bathroom collection designed by Philippe Malouin around the contrast between a cylindrical volume and a single curved gesture. The collection includes a comprehensive range of taps and bathroom fittings, manufactured in AISI 316L stainless steel and available in brushed stainless steel and PVD finishes.
HUM is a bathroom collection designed around the contrast between a precise cylindrical volume and a single, distinctive curve. The collection began with the simple presence of a stainless-steel cylinder, chosen for its permanence and purity, and developed through the addition of a contrasting curved element that defines the character of the entire series. Manufactured in AISI 316L stainless steel, HUM translates Philippe Malouin’s approach to essential forms into a complete range of bathroom fittings, available in brushed stainless steel and PVD finishes. The result is a collection that reduces each element to what is necessary while maintaining a strong, recognisable presence.
Cylinder and Curve
HUM began with two simple forms: a stainless-steel cylinder and a contrasting curve. The cylinder expresses the permanence and purity of the material, while the curve defines the spout and becomes a recurring element throughout the collection, from handles and controls to the hand shower. The result is a coherent family of taps in which form, material and function are reduced to their essential elements.
