Description
T-Board is a modular shelving system designed by Philippe Malouin for Hydro. Developed around a single extruded aluminium profile, the project explores the structural and architectural potential of extrusion through a rigorous, repeatable construction system. The shelving is assembled from modular aluminium members that create a lightweight yet rigid structure, demonstrating how recycled aluminium can become both the structural framework and the visual language of the object. Developed for Hydro, T-Board investigates the architectural potential of extruded aluminium through a simple modular system. A single profile generates the entire structure, revealing how repetition, precision and material efficiency can produce a piece that is simultaneously industrial and sculptural. The project reflects Hydro’s commitment to circular production while exploring aluminium as both a construction method and a design language.
