Trench, Producer: Acerbis
Trench is a collection of sofas and armchairs designed by Philippe Malouin for Acerbis, developed around a single continuous curve that defines both seat and backrest. The collection translates a simple, almost primordial geometry into an upholstered structure with generous proportions and a sculptural presence. Its apparently suspended construction is raised on two perpendicular legs, creating a sense of visual lightness, while the integrated armrests can be fixed or used as independent elements to adjust the seating experience. Beneath the upholstery, a steel structure and differentiated-density polyurethane provide the necessary support and comfort.

Description
Trench is a collection of sofas and armchairs defined by a single continuous curve shaping the seat and backrest. A steel structure, differentiated-density polyurethane and upholstered exterior combine with a raised two-leg construction to give the pieces a visually light, sculptural character. Fixed or independent armrests allow the configuration to be adapted for different levels of comfort.
